Maybe it's because I live in Los Angeles and we are all programmed to be agitated and angry behind the wheel...or maybe we are just to laid back in regular life that the car is our release? Either way, I'm not one to get angry often but I can say when I'm driving and I'm in traffic, I can rip heads off. It's not road rage..by definition, it's a logical analysis of what's around me. For example, if I am driving in bumper to bumper traffic, as long as I have my music I am fine. When I get to the cause of the traffic, most times an accident, I write it off and am not bothered. This does not make me angry but when I'm in bad traffic and all of a sudden find myself released into a 85 mile per hour flow with no apparent reason for the 45 minutes I just spent toning my right calf muscle, it irks me. No accident, no construction, not even a merging split to another major freeway! What was the reason for all that traffic? It's mindless and sooo aggravating. If there is no reason for it I cannot seem to allow myself to condone it. On a sidenote rubbernecking is stupid people cannot drive, I can get my look in and push on without slowing down, if it's not affecting you keep driving and stop making me wait. And construction during busy hours of driving (which seems to be every hour of the day in L.A.) seems to be so stupid to me but I contradict myself when I'm driving at 1 a.m. and I run into construction. My only issue then is why is there a mile of road blocked off when they are not working on but a section. That causes 20 minutes of one lane traffic when there should be barely anyone on the freeway. Traffic is alive, constantly moving and changing...breathing. Traffic.

Ok so you are bored at work and you usually draw ppl in the office, but once that gets old and you have drawn everyone around you...what do you do? Draw Solid Snake of course. The leading character in my favorite VG created and illustrated by my favorite illustrator, Yoji Shinkawa. What a way to pay homage to him and the company I "work" for. I had to draw during cutscenes in the video games so I got like 2 lines every 5 minutes for 5 days hahaha. Finally doneish but it's a sketch who cares. Enjoy.

Here is logo for a community committee my mother is largely a part of. It was required to be loosely based off the original but... I stretched my interpretation somewhat. Just a sketch though, the proportions are not correct but Illustrator is just so easy to use now I couldn't help but try it out!

Day? Some Saturday. Time? Before noon. Place? Santa Monica Triple A.

Lovely morning on a lovely Saturday. Here I was sitting where the gentleman just past this seemingly innocent lady is sitting. I was here waiting to get my car registration in order. My father left to run down the street to the bank. As I waited, as usual, I pulled out my iPhone to enjoy a game of Madden 2010. You cannot see the row of seats I was sitting in but knowing I was where the man was sitting lets use this picture as an example. This lady comes and sits down in the same spot she is sitting now in relation to where I am. Cool, why should I be bothered? Touchdown Raiders, everything is great. Suddenly I hear this sound which was familiar to an extent but very bewildering as to why I was hearing it here. After pausing my game I look around and notice that the lady in the above picture and whipped out a huge thick nail file. that was a good 7 or 8 inches long and started going to work on her crusty ass toes, sandals on and all. She looked as if she was going about carving an ice block. Luckily for you I didn't not snap the picture of her in the act in time because as I was beginning to raise my camera after looking around for anyone else who could possibly be seeing this (of course there was no one looking) they called her name. So I took this when I went to finish my business. But come on....I already have an issue with feet but that's nasty to be toe filing in public. Get your hygiene up.

Ok so, I attended the Spliff to enjoy some fresh hip hop cause I'm tired of everything out now and needed something new in my life. This is their bar. That is my receipt and coaster napkin. What you cannot see is just to the right of this picture where the bar shelves end is a trashcan. Above this trashcan is another smaller shelf with a register. When I closed out my card after 2 drinks with about 2.5 shots each I needed to rid myself of this pesky useless receipt and napkin and didn't want to just toss it on the floor. Now this shot was perfect, one of those you actually feel and know it will go in (that's what she said). So I looked around ensure no bartenders or patrons were looking and took the shot. I immediately began to turn away knowing it was going in, feeling quite accomplished that I didn't liter and I made it. Unfortunately out of the corner of my eye I saw it bounce of the back lip of the trashcan, hit the wall then bottom of the above shelf then somehow land on their lovely display of spirits...oops, how the hell did that happen?

Don't let this post title fool you, I am in no way, shape, or form suicidal. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, however I had an interesting thought today. Those who attempt suicide consider themselves failures in life and are label so by most of society. With this in mind say you fail all through life, constantly and this is the motivation that drives you to take your own life. What happens if you survive? What happens if you fail at death? I mean...from there where do you go? Is it really that difficult to kill yourself? People are killed daily, sadly enough. How can you possibly fail at that? I apologize for this morbid topic because it's not something I would like to let marinate on the brain but still...that's rock bottom as far as failure goes, so does that mean the only thing you can do is start to become successful?

Ok, I do not own a Nintendo DS, nor will I but this game is one of the most creative and entertaining titles I have seen in years. You are provided with situations to solve and are allowed to type in virtually any word you can think of to summon it and help you solve the puzzle. Somehow they have worked in thousands of words that can be implemented within the game. It provides hours of fun because your options are limitless (I shot a bee with a nailgun and threw a toaster in a lake to kill a prianha.) Pick it up if you have a DS, get creative and enjoy!

Well, well, well. Who is to blame for the USC Trojans short comings this past Saturday when the took on the Washington Huskies? Some are quick to blame Pete Carroll claiming he is not good coach when it comes down to important playmaking decisions. Some blame USC's overconfidence when playing unranked teams. All I know is every year my Trojans play a team that they are "supposed" to lose to and find it in themselves to win. Then they follow that week of victory with a team they should be able to beat with their eyes closed but somehow lose their poise. Each season it seems we are guaranteed an upset by a no name team and this year Washington was it. But let's be honest, USC is in a rebuilding phase right now. Their team was dismantled somewhat by the 2009 draft so look for them to bounce back with butting new talent in the next two years. Let's just hope for us Trojans fans that we don't falter in the rest of the regular season games, maybe there's a bowl game in it for us?

The 2009 U.S. Open seemed to be business as usual with the elites of the sport planning to meet in the finals bracket however, Venus' early elimination left us counting the days until Serena would claim her next championship. However we were left shocked at a profanity filled tirade directed towards a tournament judge which seemed to come out of nowhere. Now there has been quite the uproar among tennis fans and sports fans in general. I must agree that in a professional arena this behavior is unacceptable and Serena knows this. She is a role model for many young women in the world and African Americans in general but while I say this we all must remember that Serena is from Compton, CA. No matter how where you put someone, if they are pushed hard enough, their roots will come out. That's all that was, her facade weakened for whatever reason and she let her realness come out. You can't get mad at that. So all in all it was a mistake on her part but lets not give her such a hard time, she's just real and that must be respected.

Sometimes we see examples of the questionable breakdown of money in our country in relation to the incomes of those like doctors and teachers as compared to athletes and celebrities. It seems that Michael Crabtree is one of the few Americans who did not get the memo that our economy is in a recession. Many of us football fans have been "somewhat' anxious to see this talented receiver hit the ground running as a member of the NFC's San Francisco 49'ers but again we are forced to sit idly by wondering...what is wrong with this man? Analysts question many of the people he has surrounded himself with who are there to advise his career moves. What some fail to realize is, Crabtree is a grown man and should be able to make decisions on his own. In my opinion, some money (which is a lot more than some money to the vast majority of the nation) is better than none and if this promising player doesn't get his act together, he will continue to get none. Michael, get it together, the fact of the matter is you did not get drafted 2nd or 3rd so play the game and show us why you deserve to get paid. Help us help you.

So I didn't take it that much farther to a finish but I put a little something extra on it. In the end I didn't wanna spend too much time rendering since it was a sorta rush job and they were happy with it so there's no need to keep working it right, plus I wanted it somewhat rough and painterly.

Ok so this is almost done now it's looking better, I need to fix the figure 8 on the head motion slightly, adjust the arm arc, force weight after the heel makes ground contact and stabilize the perspective of the hips and it will be perfect so this rough is were I am right now.

Look more bad animation! This is my first pass at a yawn for my film in the opening scene. Um I timed it out in realtime and somehow concluded it would take only 2 seconds. Boy was I wrong. everything is too quick and too contained. My next pass, now that I see the issues, push the extreme drawings, focus on the perspective changes in the eye line, exaggerate the squash and stretch waaaay more and change the timing. The whole thing should be about 6 or 7 seconds now when I'm done. Look for the new video of it in the coming week and watch how different it is.

Many know I am almost ALWAYS about some kinda glow in the dark attire (compliments of my glow in the dark pack blazers) so this just fits into the routine. Plus the jacket's neutral non illuminated color is the same as my blazers so hey that's a white tee and some Levi's for a fit. Look for me in the streets. This jacket is part of the Stone Island Spring/Summer 09 release under the "Night Vision" collection. Pricey? Yes but hey do what you gotta do right?

Aight so at the Bridge with the homie watching Valkyrie, we was wil'n off the surplus of bomb ass coats throughout the movie, namely the German peacoats with the red interiors. Now the movie had them all grey and we both were on some hype type stuff trying to find if they actually exist after the movie. No such luck but I came across this coat in Burberry's line up for fall/winter 09. So yea it's probably gonna cost a stack but hey...I have a few months to save up right? Prayers were answered for this one, def a must cop. Catch me in the streets with this one come New Year's Eve!!! Take a look at the rest of the line too at Burberry (thank you hypebeast).

Ok so...this peacoat was released in fall/winter 08 by Sandinista, a company headed by two guys from Toronto and Tokyo and um, I fell in LOVE with it. Problem is...it was 560 American so that was a no go but now the price is 360 which is doable but of course...it's sold out everywhere so although I'm still a hype about it, chances are I will never have it in my possession. Cashmere hits.
